Tal Kochav is a Lighting Designer, Director, and Programmer working across live entertainment, television, concerts, and large-scale events. Based between Nashville and Los Angeles Tal brings a technical and design-driven approach to every project, combining a strong understanding of lighting technology with a clear focus on storytelling, performance, and visual impact.
With experience spanning a wide range of artists, productions, and live environments, Tal thrives on the variety of each project. His work moves fluidly between designing a visual language from the ground up, directing lighting teams in the field, and programming complex lighting systems to bring a creative vision to life.
Tal, a grandMA3 programmer, with extensive experience building and operating sophisticated lighting systems for live productions. He maintains a dedicated console and previsualization suite in Los Angeles, allowing him to develop, test, and communicate lighting concepts before they reach the stage.
Whether developing a full lighting design, directing a production team, or programming a show under pressure, Tal approaches each project with an emphasis on collaboration, precision, and creating memorable visual experiences.
