Business Director, Eat to the Beat / Global Infusion Group
Mary joined Eat to the Beat in February 1990 after completing a degree in Food Science at
Strathclyde University. Mary’s illustrious career has seen her baking scones for the Pope
and presenting a birthday cake on stage to the Dalai Lama at Glastonbury and meeting the
Queen on her 90th Birthday when she came to see the catering set up at the Royal Windsor
Horse Show. Mary also has extensive experience of delivering catering in the US, having
recently delivered catering for Coldplay and Judas Priest’s tours and heading up the in-
house catering operation at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
As Business Director for Eat to the Beat, Mary leads the account management, operations,
finance, warehousing and onsite teams who are regularly delivering major event, tours and
TV productions. Passionate about driving sustainability, Mary works hard to ensure that it
is integral to the business’ day to day operations with the entire team encouraged to think
creatively and take responsibility in reducing its environmental impact.
For over 34 years Mary has been part of the Eat to the Beat team, a specialist division of Global Infusion Group.
